We had J&S Shoreline complete installation of concrete steps with gang walk ramps, add an 8’ covered dock extension, add new winches, pulleys, & stainless steel cable to the dock, and installed a 4 corner Floatair lift. We also had J&S Shoreline stabilize the shore with large rip rap stone. All of the work was completed on time and met all of our expectations. Communication with the J&S Shoreline team was clear, concise, candid, and helpful. Pricing was very competitive and fair. When I received my quote for the rip rap at our dock I was a little taken back by the cost.  Now that the job is done I can totally understand.  We had 189 feet of rip rap installed and every single boulder and rock was placed individually.  One by one.  The two gentlemen who did our work are nothing short of incredible artists.  Bryan and Willfredo are detail oriented workers.  They have a wonderful work ethic.  They showed up every day at 0800 and went right to work.  They worked tirelessly each and every day.  In addition to placing rock they had to go out in the barge to get rock daily.  I went out each and every day to watch the progress.  I watched Bryan pick up a boulder with the excavator, place it, rotate it, replace it, turn it over, and then push it into place only after he was completely satisfied that it was the right boulder in the right location.  It was nothing short of a massive jigsaw puzzle.  I have daily videos and photos of the process.  In addition to boulder placement they spent an entire day grading the shoreline and removing the trees that had been affected by the previous erosion.  The before and after photos tell the story.  We couldn't be more satisfied with the final outcome of the project.  Can rocks and boulders look beautiful?  Absolutely!  I would recommend JS Shoreline for anyone who wants a beautiful shoreline. I had J & S Shoreline replace the boards on the 50ft gangway leading to my dock. They showed up promptly as scheduled and were extremely professional. They hauled all the old boards away! I previously used  J & S Shoreline to build a landing area with steps and inclined ramps to the gangway. I was confident selecting them for this project.
